Hi. I’m Andrew Kimber and I’m a coach who thrives on helping people shape their success, together.
Other people would say I’m a change agent. That may be it. Sounds a bit cheesy right, at least my wife says so. I’ve always believed in embracing change. Change has been with me all my life… deciding to leave my first job after University to spend time on a kibbutz… to realising my dream of living abroad and travelling the world with work… to leaving corporate life to pursue my passion for coaching and owning and running a small business with my wife.
Even from when I was a young child, reading what I wrote then about how I wanted to be a fireman I’ve always been interested in helping and supporting people, whether it be at work or home. That’s always been there. That realisation hit home to me when I began my journey as a coach and I became aware of who I am and what makes me tick.
Realising that what motivates me is in making a difference to people and helping them realise their full potential. So that’s what I do now.
What have I picked up along the way…
- 20 years experience in business working with people across the world
- Being responsible for delivering double digit growth and exceeding revenue targets
- Helping people transform relationships and what they do
- Helping myself and others to deliver business results through establishing trusted relationships and developing and managing customer relationships
My fulfilment comes from enabling positive change and a belief in taking personal responsibility for what we do. That’s how I find I live my life. I’ve had many ups and downs and learnt from those experiences, what can I repeat or do differently, to make a change. What’s the outcome I want and how do I do that…
I continue to explore ways to realise my potential and apply my coaching philosophy to myself.
Taking a leap into the unknown from big business to small, I am also a co-owner and Director of an e-Commerce business, selling hand-made lace wedding footwear, House of Elliot. In addition to taking an active interest in the day to day running of the business, I am my wife’s thinking partner and establishing and executing a growth strategy for the business.
One of my other passions is golf, a game that I continually get in the way of myself. I enjoy the continual challenge of figuring out how I can get out of my own way – removing that interference – to realise my potential. And be the golfer I know I can be!
